Very quite clean room..Friendly... Wi-Fi great,cable and good TV...HBO..In walking distance of VA..Laundry.. Liked it...Priced right for being on budget..
Very good place to rest your head and the doggies are welcome. We had a super clean room with king bed. Breakfast was good and convent so we could travel onward. Will keep in our minds for future travel.
Great location for visiting University of Florida Gainesville where we had meetings. Great value at low price for the location. Rooms have fridges & microwave, beds comfortable, owner Bob and staff very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of good low price Thai & Mexican restaurants & walking distance to grocery stores. For student budgets or best value for location by U of Florida Gainesville Value Lodge is the best!!
It wasn't bad that sheets were clean the water was hot. That's really about all you can ask for from the value Lodge. Definitely wouldn't call it five star but got the job done
I stayed at Value Lodge for 5 nights and wanted to stay more. I know there are some reviews that are not complimentary, but I found everything just about perfect. It was quiet, really quiet despite the road out in front. No one was yelling or banging on my door to get out. The floor was clean and vacuumed, the bath was as clean as anyone could make it. Everything worked and the shower was all kinds of hot water. I loved the TV, there was a chair to sit on (unlike many motels where they expect you to sit on the bed). I used my computer at the table, the plugs worked and honestly I don't think I've ever come across so many lamps that not only work, but have 3 speeds. I felt safe with the heavy door and the people in the office were very nice to me. It is convenient to many places and I will stay there again and recommend it to others over some of the big names. I also wanted to add that the cleaning people were sweet and accommodating and never imposed or were a bother to me.+
Very nice and thorough front desk clerk was more than willing to accommodate our situation. Room was clean, sheets were fresh, bathroom, and all appliances were clean and properly working.
If your looking for the college stay then its good but there is better. But its quiet. It seems inaccessible but its not, there is a huge parking area back in the back. Could use a few areas cleaned up but for the area its great for price $80 Monday- Thursday $90 Friday and Saturday. Subject to area events though im told.
I enjoyed my stay at this place. My room was clean, it didn't even have a bad smell like some places do. It was walking distance to my job. Loved this place. The price was a little high, and they do not give any discounts. Other than that I will be staying again.
